Emmalyn has been hanging out with mommy and daddy the last couple days. Daddy had off work on Monday for President's Day and mommy only works Monday and Friday this week. FUN! On Tuesday, Emmalyn had her first identity crisis. Mommy dressed her up in the train outfit that Daddy insisted on keeping. We went to the mall with Nonna and everyone kept saying "HE is so cute". Mommy thought Emma looked like she was about to shot the place up, not happy!
When they got home, mommy changed in her into a bright pink onsie which put Emma in a much better mood!
Today, it was off to the Dr. Tina's office for her 2 month checkup. Emma was so happy to be there! Aunt Emily and mommy went with her and kept wondering when Emma was going to figure out what was about to happen. Aunt Emily captured this moment before the shots :)
Aunt Emily took a short video of Emma getting her shots. She was NOT happy!!! Besides the excitement of that, Emma weighed in at 9lbs 6oz and was 22inches long. We didn't quite hit the 10lb goal that mommy was pushing for, but 9lbs 6oz is perfect! Emma gets one more day with mommy this week and then off to Nonna's on Friday. Maggie (Aunt Jessica's dog) will be there too and Emma is getting very excited!
