GO CARDS!!!

I attended my first Cardinals game today, opening weekend, Cards vs. Cubs, AMAZING!  We were there celebrating Grandpa Heikes's 50th (Yes, he's OLD)!  I stayed awake for the first inning, and then the Cards were doing so well I decided a nap was in the cards.  I woke up again just in time to see a home run by Carpenter and then back to sleep again because the Cubs suck and I wasn't worried.  Bob must be colorblind because I didn't see any red on him, makes me wonder... :)

I got to sit in front of mommy the whole game.  I wore a Cardinals onesie, red socks, and a white skirt.  I even had a white bonnet and a Cardinals jacket for when the wind got a little chilly.  My pacifier was even Cardinals, (thanks to my Great Aunt Sarah)!  I had an $8 beer, $8.75 nachos, and a $5 hot dog.  Mommy kept saying "there goes your college fund", but I know she's only kidding, urh, I hope so.  Overall it was a great day with Grandpa & Grandma Heikes, Mommy & Daddy, Aunt Emily & Bob, and Aunt Heather & Jordan.

If I understand the adult talk, it sounds like Grandpa & Grandma Heikes will be living down here soon, and possibly even with me for awhile.  I hope Grandma doesn't expect me to her laundry, I can't quite reach the washer yet.   I'm so excited to have my whole immediate family living in STL.
