Monday:
This was my only slow day. Daddy grilled chicken legs, YUM! Mommy refused to let me try any and fed me green beans instead. Not quite as good as grilled chicken, but I do admit, they were yummy!
Tuesday:
I spent the day with Nonna and then I went to have dinner with Grandma, Grandpa, Great Grandma Heikes and Great Grandpa Heikes. We (*cough* they) had spaghetti and again, I just got to eat green beans. I really don't understand this rule about eating the same food over and over to ensure I'm not allergic. IT'S BORING! But, again, they are good. When I got home from dinner, Nonna and Papa came to come visit me. Mommy had bought Daddy a New Balance hat that I was having a blast with!
Wednesday:
Happy 4th of July! I was so excited to hear my first BOOM's but it was too dry around here so almost all the towns' fireworks were cancelled. The Heikes side came down for the 4th to Grandma and Grandpa's house. My cousin Katie took a bunch of awesome photos of me, a future supermodel:
And here's video...I guess I'm close to passing another big milestone, mommy and daddy keep getting in a tizzy every time I do this:
At night time, Aunt Jess, her special friend Dan, Nonna and Papa came over. We watched the fireworks on TV. Aunt Jess really got me going, she's so much fun!
I spent the day with Grandma and then I had dinner with Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt Emily, Aunt Heather, and the Reed Family. The Reed's are awesome! I spent the night flirting with Tanner and Landon...so cute! But, enough of that, I don't like to flirt and tell.
Friday:
Friday night I had dinner with Nonna, Papa, Aunt Jess, Dan, Aunt Cheryl, Aunt Jo, Grandma, Grandpa, Bisnonna, and Bisnonno. I told you I was crazy busy this week, I really made the rounds. Also note, mommy and daddy were at all of these events too but you would never know, they never get to hold me. haha!
Saturday:
Saturday morning I got to meet Bryan Kolberg, Daddy's Fraternity Pledge Dad and also an usher at Daddy and Mommy's wedding. I sported my Illinois dress (thank to Leslie Cyrier, mommy's sorority sister).
Don't I look so tall! It might just be the angle, but I'm hoping to be 6 Foot some day. Mommy thinks that would be awesome for sports, but 5'8" or less would mean I could wear average length clothes. ha :) So, after brunch with Bryan, I met Aunt Emily, Bob, Aunt Heather, and all of Bob's Family at the Schlafly Tap Room. YUM! It was my first time meeting Bob's family...they were so nice (a lot nicer than Bob, haha j/k, I flirt with Bob a lot!) That afternoon I hung out in Grandma and Grandpa's basement playing MarioKart waiting until we had dinner with all of our family and Bob's family together. I'm super good at MarioKart, the colors on rainbow road are A-Mazing! Dinner was great and we all had a fun time!
Sunday:
No, my week didn't end Saturday. Johanna (a sorority sister of mommy's) and her special friend Brett came to visit me for the afternoon. We had lunch at Tequilla's and my margarita was awesome. Or the milk, whatever! It was awesome to see her again--I've grown a lot since January.
So, I think my busy week is over. Daddy told mommy I requested Vacation time this week. I hear mommy may be dragging me out Thursday night for some dinner with some friends and we have a wedding in Champaign next weekend. FUN! Lots to write about.
