VACAY!

Well, I didn't go on vacation but mommy and daddy took a mini vacation to Ludington, MI and left me at home.  WAH WAH!!!  It was the longest I had ever been away from mommy (daddy had taken a trip to California for a week before).  Wednesday night, I stayed with Bisnonna as usual and I didn't realize that mommy and daddy had left me for as long as they did.  All of the sudden, Nonna came to pick me up Thursday night...WAIT, what?  Where's my mom and dad?  Ok, Nonna is cool, I'll be ok, mom and dad will pick me up tomorrow, no big deal.

Friday came, and the door opened at Nonna's house and .... Grandma was there!  WAIT, what?  again?  No mom and dad?  I was starting to get a little worried.  Aunt Emily and Bob came over Friday night to have a slumber party with me.  It was a lot of fun and kept my mind off missing mom and dad.  Then Saturday came along.  I was getting used to not seeing mom and dad and thought I'd be sleeping with grandma again.  BUT, about an hour before my bed time, mom and dad walked in.  ALL SMILES!

I was so so so happy to see them.  I laughed and smiled and almost took my first step trying to get to mom but I decided to crawl (I'm better at that).  I only got to see them for an hour and then it was my bedtime.  I woke up on Sunday and wouldn't let mommy out of my sight.  Every time she left the room, I cried. I let her know that I missed her!!!!  By the end of the day, I think mommy had gotten the point so I stopped.  I don't expect them to leave me again anytime soon.  I CAN COME TOO!  :)
