sander family: Learning

I apologize for it being so long since I've written. The new house keeps mommy and daddy busy (daddy works on the house all the time and mommy watches us girls). Mommy says she only has “2 hands” so she doesn't have an extra to help me type.

I can be very talkative these days (but I get shy a lot too). I like to say things like “I got you”, “Boo!”, and “Love you”. I melt mommy’s heart. I give kisses, hugs, and bumps. If you ask me who my best friend is, I will answer “Addie”. I only lie about my age. Mommy tells me I’m doing it wrong because when asked I say “two” when in fact I’m one. Mommy says I need to subtract years, not add.

I’m learning to count to 10, all my colors, a little Spanish and some sign language. I am truly talented. I know a lot of verbs, from “I drive” to “I ride”. I weighed 23.5lbs at the doctor this week which is a big improvement for me (about 20^th percentile).

Addie has her checkup in a couple weeks. Mommy is betting she’s close to 14lbs! She is getting so big. I love dancing with her and giving her kisses. She is still waking up once per night to eat, so mommy is pretty worn down. Grandma, Nonna and Bisnonna have all chipped in a taken some nights here and there, but it is still exhausting.

The Holidays are coming up so hopefully that will give me a lot to write about. Hopefully we’ll be moving into our new house in the next 4-6 weeks. I pray we are in before Christmas because there is no room for a tree in our apartment!
