Hi Family and Friends!
Allow us to apologize deeply for our absence on this blog. Sometimes life happens so fast and seems so routine that you forget you have wonderful things to blog about. Now that our little bundle of joy is almost here, we can assure you that we will have plenty of first moments, new adventures, and funny antics for all of you to enjoy.
Over the next few weeks, we'll use this space to keep everyone up to date on Emmalyn and Momma's progress. We'll be asking everyone to hold their phone calls and text messages during the delivery phase of this little endeavor, but you can check here for updates as the few precious calm moments present themselves in the delivery room. You heard that right...St. Anthonys' delivery rooms have Wi-Fi. It's in their brochure. Apparently most infants these days leave the womb while texting. Daddy promises to be as succinct as possible as Mommy will be his main focus at that time.
For now, we are safely into week 33 with both mother and daughter at healthy measurements. Amanda felt her first contractions this week and is becoming more and more confused on Emma's orientation with all of the crazy movement going on in there. Week 2 of Lamaze class has come and gone with both parents feeling a little better about what to expect and how to handle the craziness of delivery. Daddy even made it through the birthing videos. #Winning
