Emma is officially "full term" today! Not that this definition is particularly relevant since she will decide when she's darn good and ready to join us. The most recent doctor's visit confirmed mother's intuition on baby's positioning. December 24th is still the estimated date and both ladies are physically just about ready for the big day.
One very important thing for all of those who plan on hanging out with baby: please get your flu shot! Emma is going to be joining us at the peak of flu season and the timing makes this one of the highest risks to her health and development. Whether you're a fan of Obamacare or not, please take advantage of the free flu shot clause and get it done. (Also note the use of flu "shot" instead of flu "vaccine". The nasal spray form of the vaccine is a live virus and very very bad if transmitted to the baby.)
We're down to weekly doctor's appointments from here on out, so we'll have more news on Tuesday.
