Hard at work

This week has been a rough one for Emma.  She's spent most of it at work!  Tuesday night she had to make the long trek north for a day-long excursion to Ameren's Keokuk plant.  Well, she actually stopped in Quincy to spend time with Grandma and Grandpa Heikes while Daddy did all the plant work.  But hey!...being cute for Grandma and Grandpa is tiring work...

Unfortunately, Mommy and Daddy discovered that Emmalyn is very much a creature of habit when it comes to sleeping arrangements.  She was not having any other crib than her own so Mommy had to break down and (very carefully) put her in bed with the big kids.

On the way back from Keokuk/Quincy, Emma did a quick tour of the office to see some more people and catch up on some work:

She didn't get a whole lot done, but she did her best.

On a final note, Daddy struggled to keep up on the blog those first couple of weeks with all of the holiday craziness going on.  He forgot to mention at least one other visitor, Ms. Erinn Rae who was one of the first out-of-towners to make the trip to see her.  Erinn was kind enough to provide photo documentation like Daddy has asked of everyone else.  So if you have outstanding photos with Emmalyn, please send them to Daddy!

Once again, two Phi Mu cuties gathered in one location.  Three if you count Mommy, but we didn't get her in the photo.  

Daddy can think of several other visitors, especially the neighborhood crew regular weekly couple's nights, but sadly, he does not have any photos.  Keep them coming people!
