2 kids!

Haha...no, Amanda isn't pregnant again.

Actually, what Daddy is referring to is how difficult it is becoming to tell our two children apart.  Allow him to demonstrate...

Can you imagine their embarrassment when they showed up at the pediatrician's office with the wrong type of mammal?!  If only that were the only case of mistaken identities...

As you can plainly see, Sage has adjusted quite well to the transition with the new member in the household.  It's actually become a bit of problem as Sage is now perfectly comfortable curling up next to the baby in the bassinet and she is no longer hesitant to leap into it without being able to see where she will land.  Mommy discovered this on other occasion before it was time to close the nursery door to keep the kitty out.  Fortunately, the cat doesn't seem too offended...she has made herself perfectly content to sleep at the top of the stairs so she can keep intruders out of the baby's room.  It's quite precious, actually.

In other news, Emmalyn has also adjusted to her new life and schedule.  She thoroughly enjoys her time with Nona (Rosey) and Nanna (Debs) and her sleep time has a more discernible pattern to it at night (not nearly long enough stretches for her parents' tastes, but that's how it goes).  Daddy thinks her eyes are turning brown, while Mommy is still in denial.  She clearly has Mommy's facial features now--comparing baby pictures is like looking in a mirror.  Daddy will try to put a couple together for the next post.
