Well Mommy started work again this week. The good news is that she was approved for 75% time and gets to cram it all into 3 days instead of four. That means two days off to hang out with Emmalyn every week.
The other three are being split between Nona Remiger and Nona Sander. On Monday she spent it with Great Grandma and Grandpa Remiger while Tuesday went to Grandma Sander. Daddy doesn't have pictures to show everyone from Emma's first two days without Mommy, but he has been assured that she was a very good girl and had two great days.
Today Mommy was off of work so they got to hang out together aaallllll day. It was just like old times (hey, when you're only 6 weeks old, 5 days seems like a lifetime...). It started off with some early morning cuddling and then some dolling up to spend a day out on the town. Mommy had a doctor appointment to see how she was doing since the birth and everything turned up A-ok. She was mildly famous at the office for being the girl who went 12 days with stuff in her uterus before coming in to have it removed. We're not sure that's a compliment.

Well after the boring (but good) doctor appointment, the girls rewarded themselves with Emma's first trip to the zoo! Emma slept only half of the time in her stroller, which is quite impressive for the little gal. They met Aunt Emily there and spent the rest of the day enjoying the wonderful St. Louis weather which is incredibly weird for early February and makes Daddy fearful for what the next few months hold. But enough with the run-on sentences. Pictures!...
That's all for now. Tomorrow is her second day with Great Grandma Remiger and then Mommy gets her for an early start to the weekend.
