Finally, Emma really let mommy have it by throwing up on her not once, but twice on Tuesday. Mommy got the hint and called the doctor to request a dosage increase for her Zantac. (Emma now weighs 10lbs 8oz and the drug is very sensitive to weight)
Now, instead of Emma being addicted to prescription drugs, mommy and daddy are! After we upped her dosage, she became the happiest baby ever, no more choking, belly aches or spit up (at least minimum spit up). AND, she slept 10 hours last night without waking. She is such a good sleeper when she feels 100%.
In other news, Lance Markus was so kind to point out that Emma has a gambling problem already and instead of summarizing the story, we thought we would copy and paste this in, ENJOY!:
Jon,
I figured you should here this from someone you
know before you find out too late....I think your daughter has a
gambling problem. She's already filling out/entering NCAA March Madness
pools. Also she appears to be making money somehow to enter in said
pools, I'm not even gonna speculate on how that works ( Do they have
Build-a-Bear sweatshops? Ok, so I speculated.).
Or is this how your attempt to start her college fund?

Dear Lance,
Parenting is a very tricky task and there is no clear cut solution
when it comes to dealing with children. There is often a lot of give
and take.
A recent study showed that human willpower is a limited resource in each person. Resisting that donut in the morning would make it harder to turn down the greasy cheeseburger at lunch. Passing on the desert at dinner makes it easier to succumb to the crack pipe afterwards in the alley. You see where I'm going with this. But to be clear, letting her gamble as an infant will hopefully reduce her desire to become a stripper as a young adult.

Also, we made sure her name had no variants that could possibly end with an "i"...dotted with a heart.
I hope this clears up our alleged errant parenting.
Sincerely,
Jon "Big daddy" Sander
PS. She gets money whenever she looks incredibly cute. She has more in the bank than we do now.
