On Monday, Aunt Heather and Jordan babysat Emma. They kept her on a strict schedule and she ended up sleeping a full 8 hours that night!!! YAY!!! Here is a video clip of Jordan and Heather having too much fun with Emma...
Here is also another video from when Aunt Emily babysat last week...
"Aunt Emily, I'm tired" "Ok, Emma, I will feed you"...."Emma, why did you only eat 1 ounce?" "I told you Aunt Emily, I'm tired, not hungry. But, thank you for the snack!"
Emma got to spend all day Friday with daddy while mommy was at work. They had so much fun! They drove downtown to meet daddy's old coworkers and hung out with Grandpa Heikes all afternoon. The girl is so spoiled.
All day Saturday, Emma spent the day with Aunt Jessie (Asshat), Nonna, and Great Aunt Jo while mommy and daddy were teaching couples about marriage (I know, what makes them think they're experts. I guess since they've been married 2 years they can say they've been married for "yearS" and all the sudden become experts). Aunt Jessie & Emma had a little photoshoot:
Look at those eyelashes!!
Now mommy and daddy need to take a moment to brag about their amazing daughter. Emma was officially sleeping through the night. We were getting consistently 8 hours of sleep and she even gave us one 9.5 hour night! Then, daylight savings time happened. Unfortunately, Emma has not taken the time change well. The "experts" say it takes 3 days for an infant to get on a schedule. Sunday night, 4 hours, Monday night 6 hours, tonight better be a big 8!!! Of course we'll keep you updated :)
