sander family: Mother's Day and Magic House

It was a great Mother's Day this year. The day before Mother's Day I got to see Great Grandma and Grandpa Myroth as well as Mommy's first cousin Jacob. They even brought me a new toy (and diapers for my new sissy). The best thing about seeing them is that we get to take a 4 generation picture, me, mommy, grandma, and great grandma. 4 generations of women! I hadn't seen them since Christmas so I had grown a lot. I started walking (and mastered it) and I've got enough hair for 1 little pony tail on top of my head. We hope to see them again next weekend and hopefully they can come and visit once sissy arrives.

Mommy and Daddy had a doctors appointment to check on sissy and her heartbeat was 136 bpm. Everything looks good and on May 30th they go back from an ultrasound to make sure she is in position and ready. We are just 5 short weeks away from her adjusted due date (because she was measuring small) but her original due date is just 4 weeks away. I know mommy is hoping for the week of 6/9-6/15. I hope she's born on 6/18. This would make us both born on the 18th, exactly 18 months apart. NEAT!

It's also finally starting to get WARM out. We've turned on our air conditioner and I'm not enjoying the park as much because it's soooo HOT out. Aunt Heather, Aunt Emily and Bob took me to the park on Saturday while mommy got some cleaning done and daddy mowed the lawn.

On Sunday, I got to see tons of family in the morning at my Great-Great Uncle and Aunt's estate auction. Dan accidentally bid on this cute white shelf and it turns out that mommy really liked it so she was able to buy it off of him. She was glad she didn't have to bid herself, it makes her nervous she's going to pay a million dollars for something like a napkin.

Sunday afternoon, Aunt Emily and Bob, WAIT, before I go any further, CONGRATULATIONS to Aunt Emily and Bob, they got engaged! So Sunday afternoon Aunt Emily and Uncle Bob (to be), took me to the Magic House. I had a great time. Next summer I will probably really start to enjoy it but they did have some things for kids my age.

And Sunday night for dinner, I met up with one of Daddy's old friends from Graduate School (who happens to have also gone to the same HS as mommy, but not at the same time), Andy and his girlfriend, Monica. I was quiet at first but finally warmed up and showed them a little of my adorable personality. Lets be honest, I'm just awesome regardless.
